We are an older couple who frequently eat evening meals in front of the television. These trays are oversized and very stable and sturdy. We find them useful for multiple activities. They were a great buy!

Like all stands, these move when bumped and brushed by passers by. These, however, move just enough to prevent beverage containers from tipping over even when the drinks are on cloth coasters.

The size being slightly larger than comparable products provide just enough extra space to hold just about anything you want to put on it.

The dark finish is awesome and blends in very well no matter what your decor.

I mostly use the trays when I have more people than table space. No one seems to mind and are suprised that they have so much room and are sturdy. I wish the tray tops s were wood instead of MDF, the trays don't look as good with just a solid dark top and no wood grain.

Otherwise it's a nice set. Light enough to be easily used, but heavy enough to be sturdy.

I use these for a variety of reasons....laptop desk; meals (especially during holdidays for company); portable work station when doing home repair projects to hold tools, etc.;

I've been in construction for 40 yeras. Well made, good materials.. enough said. Fed X screwed the pooch on it, box was open and left box on front porch without ringing door bell. But everything was ok inside.

Read the existing reviews first, since we specifically wanted a set that was sturdy, not flimsy & one that has a good tabletop size. This was a gift to parents who like to eat in front of TV, & its perfect. They even use them as additional side tables when needed. My husband & I like it so much we'll be ordering a set for ourselves. Only slight "con" is that the legroom seemed tight to our parents, but we didn't feel it was a big problem.

It isn't "a rich walnut finish". It is more cherry colored. Doesn't go with our walnut furniture. Waiting for FED EX label to return it.
